A young woman shared this quote by Brigham Young in her talk on Sunday. "If the Latter-day Saints walk up to their privileges and exercise faith in the name of Jesus Christ, and live in the enjoyment of the fullness of the Holy Ghost constantly day by day, there is nothing on the face of the earth that they could ask for that would not be given unto them."
I love that! I believe that promise is literal.

That is wonderful and it reminds me of a quote by Parley P. Pratt about the Holy Ghost and how every aspect of our lives can be enhanced and enriched with the Gift of the Holy Ghost.
It's long, so I won't write it out here, but here is a link to a talk that includes it. The quote is almost half way down the page, set off in italics and starts, "The Gift of the Holy Ghost adapts itself to all of these organ's or attributes..."

Thanks for sharing that. What a great quote. :)
Wow. Living up to our possibilities is such a challenge.
